Another week in science

This week in science class we discussed DNA and Mitosis related things. We took some notes on this stuff including:
-Chromosomes are packages of DNA.
-When DNA is unraveled, it is called a Chromatin
-Centrioles split
-Centrioles come from the Chromosomes
-Two Centrioles make up the Chromosome
-The Chromosomes move around and go to the center
-Organelles start to form and they double
-Centrioles produce Spindle Fibers
-Spindle Fibers connect to the Centromeres

Some inportant Mitosis terms include:
-Interphase
-Cytokinesis
-Chromatin
-Anaphase
-Metaphase
-Telaphase
-Chromatin
-Centromere
-Spindle Fibers
-Pro Metaphase
-Chromosome
-Centriole
-Centrosome
-Mitosis
-Cell Reproduction
-DNA
-Asexual
-Daughter Cell
-Parent Cell
-Nucleic Membrane
-Prophase

We made a concept map as well. Mitosis is in the middle and is the center of everything. Prometaphase, Prophase, Telaphase, Interphase, Cytokinesis, Anaphase, Metaphase and Asexual all come off of Mitosis. Parent Cell comes off of Interphase, Spindle Fibers come off of Prometaphase, DNA Replication comes off of Prophase, and Cell Reproduction comes off of Asexual. Daughter Cell comes off of Parent Cell, DNA comes off of DNA Replication and Centrosome comes off of Spindle Fibers. Chromosome comes off of DNA, Chromatid comes off of Chromosome, Centromere comes off of Chromatid and these two combine.

So that's it for this week's blog... See yah next week (:
